About Revyve:

At Revyve, we’re pioneering “A New World of Texture” with the next generation of sustainable food ingredients. We create functional proteins and fibers from yeast, helping food manufacturers eliminate eggs and additives in baked goods, sauces, meat and dairy alternatives. Having launched industrial-scale production in 2024, Revyve is gaining commercial traction and expanding our team at our Wageningen lab/kitchen facility.

About the Role:

As our Bakery Application Specialist, you’ll own the applications work within the bakery segment, accelerating our commercial growth. You’ll be at the forefront of developing new bakery applications, executing lab and pilot-scale trials, refining our value propositions, and supporting customers in adopting our innovative ingredients. Reporting to the Applications Director, you will:

  • Lead technical development, formulation, and testing of bakery applications.
  • Translate customer needs into technical solutions, delivering compelling data and prototypes.
  • Design and execute lab and pilot-scale trials to demonstrate ingredient performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the commercial team to support customer projects from concept to launch.
  • Contribute to building technical documentation and customer training materials.

Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Explore secondary categories like savory, meat alternatives, or dairy for potential expansion.
  • Engage with external labs, pilot plants, and co-development partners as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Hbo (Bachelor) degree in food technology, bakery, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of applications development experience, with significant bakery expertise.
  • Formulation expertise in sweet bakery and gluten-free systems.
  • Practical, proactive mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Fluency in English.

  • Experience in savory, dairy, or meat analogs.
